Today you are going to be priviledged with not one, but two posts from me. This would be the first (incase you can't count or something). This post is going to be a little less than thrilling probably, the second one... oh boy, the second one is going to be nothing but pictureds!! Yeah!!
Yesterday we (meaning in this case myself and my sister) learned that my younger cousin had broken up with his long-time girlfriend. While this isn't exactly startling news to anyone (it was pretty obvious there were things going on), it is still rather sad. They've been together as long as Cory and I have been, maybe a couple of months longer, but not by much. The have lived together since the summer of 2001, and they got engaged this past Fall.
It feels like she's been a part of our family forever. She came to both mine and my sister's weddings. She's been here for holidays. Our children, if they could speak, would call her "Auntie". We just went on a winter holiday the entire family and have all these great memories with her. And now she's gone.
These last 8 years of are now to be summed up in a single sentence whenever I see a picture of her, "That used to be N's girlfriend". That is what I will say someday to NatNat when we look at pictures from her first year and see this person who will mean nothing to her at all.
Its all very sad.

ugh, what a sin. Sorry to hear about N & his gf. Seems like there's a lot of that going around lately :(
